YaadMatch is a dating app for adults 18 and older in Jamaica. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and how we prevent, detect, and act on it. These standards apply to everyone who uses YaadMatch.
Our commitment
We prohibit, without exception, any content or conduct that sexually exploits or endangers a child. This includes CSAM, sexualization of a minor, grooming, enticement, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to use YaadMatch to make contact with a minor for those purposes.
What is strictly prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, drawings, or text.
- Sexualizing, soliciting, or grooming anyone under 18, on or off the platform.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or arranging the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Creating an account for, or on behalf of, anyone under 18.
- Any attempt to use YaadMatch to identify, contact, or meet a minor for sexual purposes.
18+ only, and how we enforce it
Registration requires a date of birth and is limited to adults 18 and older. Every profile photo is reviewed by our safety team before it can be shown to other members. We remove accounts we believe belong to anyone under 18, and we act on conduct that endangers a child regardless of the account holder's age.
Reporting
Anyone can report a member or a conversation directly in the app from the profile or the chat. A report made from a chat reaches our safety team with the relevant part of the conversation included; a report made from a profile is sent on its own. To report a child-safety concern specifically, you can also email our designated child-safety contact at childsafety@yaadmatch.com. Please include the profile name and any relevant dates so we can act quickly.
How we review and act
Child-safety reports are prioritized and reviewed by our safety team. When we confirm content or conduct that violates these standards we remove the content, terminate the account(s) involved, and preserve the relevant records. Confirmed illegal material is removed and handled in accordance with applicable law. We do not tolerate the abuse of our reporting tools, but a report made in good faith never counts against the person who made it.
Designated contact
Our designated point of contact for child-safety matters is childsafety@yaadmatch.com. For anything else, our general Support page reaches the same team.
If a child is in immediate danger
YaadMatch is not an emergency service. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services and the appropriate child-protection authorities directly. Reporting to us as well helps us remove the content and account promptly.
